Where's home?

This baby Whiite Hand Gibbon was found without parents in the Malaysian rainforest. Took this photo before it was taken away by the ranger. It seemed to have got used to humans and there wasn't any fear in its eyes except a sense of lost.

Ivor -

Those eves mirror the whole world. Soulful is perhaps an understatement. The only distracting element is the unidentifieded fur in front of the baby's mouth, a hand perhaps. It is a little distracting if unidentified, or, if it is a hand then a very contemplative mood is established if it were not cropped from the bottom. Really like the rest of the mood that is established by the tonal values.

The unidentified fur is the knuckle of its hand. It was actually sucking its thumb before I took the photo. At that moment it reminded me of my niece who will suck her thumb when feeling insecured.
