Here is a link to an active Japanese y2k forum, very much like this one. It's all in Japanese, but the questions, comments, concerns would be familiar to everyone here. All grassroots, real people (like you guys!) People are seriously woriied. The main forum difference is that threads are identified by number, making it harder to keep oriented (pardon the pun). Maybe I'll translate an interesting post for y'all sometime. Meanwhile, if you know Japanese language, enjoy:

if you choose a document click on it -- go down about half way and look for a link that says ENGLISH (and click it)you can read it better!!!

well i tried to get the english back -- but it only worked for the one document -- and i cant find it again !!! maybe png can help us. i know one of those links gets us english but i cant find it again.

you may notice i dont use capitals -- that's because i am not a capitalist !!!
