Just a suggestion for newbies.greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
When I first found out about this Forum I had a bunch of questions to ask, but what I did first was go through all the old posts in the areas that I was concerned about. I'd say maybe 90% of my questions had already been answered, many in considerable detail. Give this a try, well worth the effort.Cheers, Andy

Andy,What we should do is see if we can get the "What about you?" thread going again as it seems awareness has grown quite a bit lately.

Andy, Mike:I reactivated the "What About You" thread last week. Also, If you look under the new questions you will see a thread called "New to the Forum - README" that I am hoping forum vets post to. None so far though.

Mike;If you re-activated it it went south in a HURRY, 'cause I didn't even notice it. we should see if Mr. greenspun can somehow get it to the top of the actual thread list instead of the new answers list. Chuck

The "what about you" thread is fantastic - just shows where we are all coming from - for example, I'me a relative "newbie" but I've managed to read a few of "Hardliner"'s posts, puts us all to shame.Maybe someone can re-ask the question - we are all making plans, who wants to write a PHD???
