Here is a great website to check out Y2K info on your utilities, banks, etc. (also posted on www.euy2k.com forum).

Y2K Utility/Bank Check

It can select by state, provides alphabetical lists of utilities/banks, etc. Also, gives helpful things to look for, such as:

Throughout your review, consider the following:
o When did the project begin?
o Which systems are checked?
o How much is being spent?
o What is the set timetable?
o What has already been done?
o Any contingency plans?
o Dependency on third parties?

The site didn't work for me. In MSIE3.0 the [Submit] button was inoperative, nothing happened. In Netscape 3.0 the [Submit] button started something up, but only Alabama and Companies beginning with "A" were accessible. Trying any other state or letter flips back to the home page. Both MSIE and Netscape reported Javascript errors.

Link worked fine for me .. full access to the site. Any state .. any bank.

When I tried it I got "unregistered user".

But, then again ... an e-mail address like "anon@ymous.com" _does_ have that unregistered look about it, doesn't it?

Tom,

Sounds like you don't have the javascript options turned on. Best thing to do is upgrade your browser(s). Both IE and Netscape are free.

Very useful site. Worked great for me. And I am on WebTV which does not even support Java.
