One thing I have noticed with Space Marines in General is that people pay a lot of points for weapons that aren't that effective against the enemy, i.e. spending massive points for LasCannons if your fighting Orcs. Also make an army to your plan of attack, i.e. if you plan on doing more hand to hand, invest in transports rather than an battle tanks. I have noticed that when playing against Space Marines foolish spending is what seperates the men from the boys. Good Luck, ----Bryan

Since space marines cost so much youll be outnumbered so when taking heavy weapons take heavy bolters or any other waepon that has sustained fire

when i started out on space wolves i got the blood claws. i sugest that you get a set or two of these for your army. they are fairly good in hand to hand combat. for those annoying night missions. i find that the long fangs arn't really worth getting because the set they come as cost(in the game) ove three hundred points. and then you don't us them that much. definately get wolf gaurd. you can use them in both squads and /or singlely. i like the assult cannon for it's sustained fire and it's high A.pen. a wolf priest is also handy. for it's med-pack and it's rosaures.

Get a dreadnought in the new rules the lets u choose whether to set up first or second and are great in combat. Also the wolves get some great rules and equipment check out white dwarf 231.
