Dear agony-aunt, I'm confused! The ISO9000 registrars in some countries apparently have no hesitation in accepting that GPSDO-referenced measurements are "traceable to national standards". But in my country, I'm told it's not possible. Should I move my business, change nationality or am I forced to invest in an old-fashioned VLF receiver which, despite poorer performance, apparently provides acceptable traceability?

Well, it's true that there are differing levels of acceptance of GPSDOs around the world. Luckily, our national lab has already initiated a project to investigate this kit and one report already produced. Further clarification about practical advice will shortly be available.
