Potentially Helpful Hint

greenspun.com : LUSENET : M.Ed./Extension Forums at UMD : One Thread

I noticed that only a few of us have requested an e-mail copy of any new questions, answers or responses that are posted here. Personally, I have found it helpful to get an e-mail copy of everything that is posted and would like to suggest that if you haven't considered signing up for this service, think about whether it would be helpful to you.

To request the discussion server to send a copy of any new item to your e-mail address, simply go all the way to the bottom of the main discussion page (where all of our names are listed) and click on the link: "If you want to follow this discussion by email, click here to add an alert"

If you are like me your e-mail is open all day long, but it takes a special effort to go to the discussion forum. Each person works differently, but I have really appreciated the reminder that things are happening and seeing what was happening throughout the day. In practice, I find that I will scan the message and then delete it, with plans to visit the discussion forum at a later time and look at things closer, knowing that something new is there.

Anyway, just a suggestion of something I have found helpful.

Have a good day!!
