Libby, Mr Brown - there are several extended threads on this article - most vry critical of what they wrote and what its impact will be un people who haven't studied Y2K. Look "below" in the "Recent Answers" thread list, also from the home page in the 'archived thread" lists.
My recommendation don't bother. The article was worse than a waste of ink - it set back by several months lots of people from understanding the potential nature of this problem.
