Well, actually it keeps better if it's in a can or covered container - kind of leaks off the shelf if you don't put in something....makes a eal mess on the floor. 8<)

1) The type of diesel (#1 or #2);

2) How it's stored.

.. for openers.

Chevron says 1-2 years if it's not "treated".
