Journal Requirement - updated 11/24/98

The Governance Team met and discussed the Personal Journal requirement further.

We had a talk in class about journals two weeks ago. At that time the folks were told to keep journals that could later be added to their portfolios at the end of their work. A specific form for the writing was not discussed. It seems as though this is a group that, like Cindy says, wants clear expectations. Journals by nature are private reflections that, through the process of writing, the writer comes to a clearer understanding of themselves as a result. Towards the end of both years, we will require a reflection paper on growth based upon the journals. Reflection Paper DUE: May 26, 1999, and May 24, 2000.
