Another simple idea. Build and promote niche Web sites that attract a large number of hits. Then, go and either sell goods and services--or advertising on it.

Sounds like a stupid idea, but it is the premise that all magazines are built on.

Pros: - cheap to do - worldwide audience - no governmental controls as in magazines - can be lucrative

Cons: - sometimes difficult to find audience - time consuming to create sites

Considerations: - integral to the success of this type of approach is to be able to attract hits...
