I am seeking information about a nursing academy called St. Francis Nursing Academy in San Francisco in the 1930's. In particular, I am looking for alumni Gwendolyn Carter. I would really appreciate any information about the school, an alumni group, school records, etc.

Did it possibly evolve in the St Francis Hospital School of Nursing? I don't know when the school started, i was a student there in 1940- 43. Our Director of Nursing was Miss Elizabeth Turnbull.
