When Lowe Yells, "COME ABOUT!!!"

Did anyone notice, as Rose is blowing the whistle at the end, after Jack is dead, that Lowe yells "COME ABOUT!!!" It is kind of funny, 'cuz here is like, Rose's love forever, gone, and then Lowe cuts in and screams, "COME ABOUT!!!"

What are you talking about? He was directing the people who were rowing to turn around to go and get Rose. He wanted to make sure Rose heard him. Secondly, what did you want him to do, whisper it?

What I found interesting and ironic in this scene was the moment when Lowe shouts: "Can anyone hear me?" and Rose can hear him, but not answer back. She finally gets to use the whistle, but it was still ironic, I thought. Not to blame anyone, of course...

You can tell that her hearing was impared that point. She was almost suffering from hypothermia...in fact, she probably was. Her hearing was altered. You can tell that it was because they do it in slow motion, that is supposed to be from Rose's vantage point. Also, she did not respond because she couldn't. Her vocal chords were impared just as her voice was. When she yelled "comeback" she was using the last ounces of strength left in her body. Basically, the cold sucked the power out of her.
