VERY sparse info - we saw either prototypes or mockups at Comdex, but very few details. Either 2 or 3 chips internally, producing a total resolution of 2.7 million pixels at the sensor level. Interchangeable lenses from the full range of Minolta APS lenses, with NO focal-length multiplier (read: true wide-angles possible). Should be full aperture/ shutter priority/manual everything. Very bulk-looking unit, but we didn't get a chance to hold one to see how it felt. No mention of price, but we've heard rumors it will be in the $5K range. Minolta has promised us one of the first units to test, but we don't know exactly when to expect it, only "sometime after the first of the year." Stay tuned though, we're almost certain to have one of the first units to evaluate and will post all the usual info at that point.
