That's really interesting. I like it as an abstract even though I can't figure out why. Maybe it's the diagonal composition and rich colors. It's also a nice contract between the deep reddish leaves and the green background.

If I had to point out an are for improvement I might suggest that the branch in the upper left corner is a tad distracting...it's still a "keeper" by all means.

BTW, I opened the image in Photoshop and found a surprising amount of detail in each of the RGB channels (of course it's hard to tell with that much compression, and yes I did delete it from the cache). That's a nice camera you've got there. What model is it?

Best regards,

Keith

Keith, The camera I use is the Agfa ePhoto 1280 digital camera. Thanks for your comments. Dell

I'm forming an opinion on these digitial cameras after seeing a number of pictures in this forum taking with them. They all seem to have lowered contrast. Perhaps I'm in error. I like this picture but would have perferred a slight contrast enhancement to help separate the interesting hues. The use of a polarizing filter may have reduced some of the sheen on the leaves IMO inproving the colour saturation. Along the top is a light grey tone, cropping it off improves the composition also.
