I plan to get additional data storage device for Nikon CoolPix 900s. Do I need to get it from Nikon or they are all compatible? Any recommendations?

Any brand will work with the nikon. The only digi cam that I am aware of that will only work with the maker's memory card is the ricoh rdc-1(which I also have). Check out Lexar's deal at lexar.com..2 24mb for $179..not bad at all.
