new paper format

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Courier Times Online Feedback : One Thread

actually i just wanted to make a comment...i find the new paper format horrible....the newspaper is too thin and it is impossible to read an article without having the previous page advertisers or articles "seeping" through the page you are trying to read..it is remarkably straining for your eyesight....i can't imagine that you are not receiving complaints from other people about the paper now being too thin. thank you...

I have to agree with Doug. While the new layout is more pleasing, the typeface is much harder to read. In addition, the "bleeding" from page-to-page makes it even harder to read. For a while, I thought it was my eyes. But then I heard from other readers who said the same thing. I hope you plan on changing the quality of the paper and the type style soon.

"The new & improved Bucks County Courier" was a topic that came up on Thanksgiving, that my entire family had a comment about! No one likes it and can't understand why this paper's format keeps getting worse! There was a time when local news in your town was local news! And, there's so much advertising in the paper we wonder have you lost that many customers?? Also, who's able to read this paper without straining your eyes.. between the lightness of the print, and the small font. Anyway I'm sorry to say, if something doesn't change soon. I know of at least 5 home deliveries (2 who have been customers for at least 20 yrs), who will be cancelling!!!
