I have heard that the 4500s were painted in the standard freight scheme (except the first one) but with black roofs. Most of the photos I have seen are from trackside level, and dont show if the roof is a different color from the sides . Does anyone know of any color rooftop shots of Centipedes? Ta!

I have no knowledge of any 4500's with black roofs.The only SAL units with black roofs were some switchers.
