Glenn Tracey is my name and I have been teaching at Ordean Middle School in Duluth for the past six years. The address at Ordean is 301 40th Ave. East, Duluth,MN 55804 and the phone number is 525-0810 ext.129.

My teaching assignment is split with 2 American History courses and 3 world geography classes and I am not sure which I like better, the students are great in all of my classes.

I also serve as the school newspaper advisor for Ordean and hoped that I could use technology skills developed in this program to increase student interest and participation.

In my current position as a social studies instructor I feel strongest about the history topics dealing with the founding of our country and the establishment of the Constitution. The fact that I majored in history also tends to emphasize the past cultures and civilizations that are related to the geographic areas we study. We also like to make maps.

I will finish by telling a little about where I live and what I enjoy doing away from the "institution." My home is located 25 miles northeast of Duluth on a small trout lake. I enjoy the drive because the traffic is not busy and often I see wildlife, last week it was a bull moose, and Monday a pine marten. I have two children aged 10 and 13 that I love spending my free time with and am proud of what good people they are.
