To the Faculty and Goverance Team of Cohort III:

It is my desire to contract for an 'A'.

In reading the revised contract grading guidelines, I have discovered that I am confused by what is required for an 'A'. If my proposal is deficient in any way, it is my sincere hope that I will be given a chance to amend it in such a way as to fulfill any additional requirements.

In addition to serving on the Governance Team, and facilitating our January 13, 1999 class session, it is my intention to cinduct a team-teaching experiment with a Special-Ed teacher, Mr. Dave Halver, at Duluth Central High School. We are trying to bring several of his students into my mainstream 10th Grade American History class. During the course of the year we will keep track of student reactions, our discussions on various techniques and projects, and the students' achievements in order to assess the success of the project. Of course all of our findings will be made available to the members of the Cohort.

If another project is necessary, I propose to choose a text, with the assistance of the Cohort adisory staff, in the area of professional growth and to post a summary of it on the Cohirt's Discussion page, along with its applications to teaching.

Your kind consideration of this proposed contract is greatly appreciated.
