My proposal for the Contract of a 'B' Grade is a trip with at least five Central High School students to go to Washington D.C. with the Close-Up Foundation. I already have the student participants and the trip is scheduled for March 7 - 13, 1999. This is an educational experience for the students as they meet with the Minnesota Representatives and Senators as well as tour the important Memorials, Monuments and buildings of our nation's Capital.

My proposal for Contract of an 'A' Grade is a human service project. The Close-Up students mentioned above are in need of funds for the trip to Washington D.C. I have coordinated with the Human-I-Tees fundraising organization in order to raise the needed money for the students' trip. In addition to raising money for the students, Human- I-Tees donates 20 percent of its profits to environmental organizations all over the world.
