Answers

I am a third grade teacher at Lowell Music Magnet in Duluth. This is my second year at this school and in the Northland. Before that, I was second grade teacher in Benson, Minnesota. I have also taught Gifted, Title One, and fifth grade.

My husband, Jerry, is the highschool choir director at Central. We try not to talk "shop" to often! I have two sons who are 8 and 5 and also attend Lowell. It is a totally new experience to have your own children in school. Being a parent gives me a different perspective on the school environment. You become a lot more aware of other issues and their importance.

I love the summer and spending time with my kids. I like to garden and have thus far managed to have one rose bush survive under my care. I am not a great cook, but I love to bake! Chocolate chip cookies are a favorite wi
