Just this morning I received an e-mail about a Y2K community preparedness workshop, and a reference to a new web site. I briefly visited there and it looks real interesting. You might want to take a look and see what you think:http://www.cogenesis.com/y2k
-- JoB (jbabinsky@theriver.com), November 11, 1998.
i start with sanger's review. i also check yourdon, yardeni, deJager sites frequently, also GN's. many other sites on an as-needed basis. i'm not fond of tons of email, so the only email i've signed up for is deJager's twice a month updates--they are well worth it. my husband gets regular email updates from microsoft, which he needs for his job.

I screwed up the link for Co-Intelligence...it is:http://www.co-intelligence.org
I left the hyphen out of the spelling...you can still cut and paste the previous post,...just add the hyphen. but the hyperlink won't work.

To think about the Y2k problem in context, read the Stalking Wolf prophecy
http://www.digitalpla.net/~prophecy/vision.htm
We are through parts 1 and 2 (starvation and pollution), parts 3 and 4 (nuclear red sky and back to the stone age) are still optional. This makes the y2k problem look like a brain-teaser, possible trigger effect...
-- Jon (jonmiles@pacbell.net), November 12, 1998.
We will all be brain dead before getting half way through all those sites.Slow down, relax, and try - http://www.hooked.net/users/davew/bin/deepthoughts - for a relaxing moment.

Great idea, Kevin. My bookmarks file blew up a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't restored all my Y2K links--this thread will go a long way towards filling in the gaps. Thanks to everyone for posting.
