There's not enough interest here to satisfy my eye. More contrasty lighting would help, but still the fallen telephone pole doesn't really catch my interest. I actually like minimalist photos, but this combination of ingredients and light fall below my minimum.

For what you had to work with I think you did a fine job. The tree might be a little blue. Maybe an 81B filter would have helped or maybe it is my monitor or your scan.

This image can work a little better if you crop off the top third of the picture and focus on the pole itself.
