Red Flare II:

Film: Fuji Velvia, Pentax ZX-5N, 80-200mm lens, handheld. The correct exposure was obtained from the on-camera spotmeter reading of 1/125 sec. @ f-5.6 from the red flower which was used without interpretation. The source of light was the 7:30 am sun that was slightly diffused through the trees. The image was not an easy one to scan!

A wonderful shot Bahman and not because it is anything like one of mine. If I ever get the chance, I going to steal this style!

highly original; and, as you have said of others' work, elegant.

Rather like the first one: the flower is (just a bit) too close to the side! This is very inspiring indeed! 'Thanks for sharing'.

It seems that the subject is adquatly isolated by the lighting. Therefore I would have liked to have seen more detail in the backgroung (increase depth of field).
