anyone care to inform me of their likes and dislikes regarding the epson700 and 800 color ink jet printers? if one were going to purchase the 700, is the 800 worth the extra few dollars, etc.? your comments would be appreciated. respectfully, raymond a. bleesz at bleesz@vail.net

If you're going to be printing photos, the 700 will win hands-down: It's a six-color printer, with the light cyan, light magenta inks to give much smoother gradations in the highlights, better detail overall. The 800's main advantage is that it's a fair bit faster, but it's only a 4-color printer, so won't be near as good on photos.
