KDFX+DMTI troubles ...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Kurzweil Users : One Thread

Hi,

I've a brand new KDFX, and a DMTI for a while. Linking the K2500 and the DMTI thru the KDS, I only get audio from KDS A, whatever I select in the K2500 outputs (A,B,C,D). I wonder if this is a software problem, or a cable problem ... My eight audio outputs are valid on the DMTI, as if I ask to have KDSA on every pair, I'll get it (4 times the same thing). But whatever output I select on the K2500, I only get audio from KDSA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't have a DMTi, however I did forward your question to David Fox, a technical expert at Kurzweil. When I get his reply I will post it here and email it to you.

Thanks Mike Martin

Sorry I didn't get it at first. I just realized the problem. Now that you have KDFX, you have to change the Outputs on the MIX page KDFX. This should do the trick.

Thanks very much everyone. Kurzweil e-mailed me an answer to my problem: changing output mix assignations isn't enough, since I had to configure a default "studio" setup, which could bring KDFX A to KDS1 and so on ... thanks ag
