It presents a low-key warning that some services may experience temporary difficulties during Y2K, but not to be alarmed. The public is gradually being prepared, a step at a time. She's already received her warm&fuzzy from Wachovia bank...

It will be interesting to see if, after the elections are over today, we see more of this "gentle alarming" about Y2K from the Powers That Be.
