Last night (Sunday, Nov. 1) on CBS, local Los Angeles TV, was a fairly long blurb on what two LA locals are doing to prepare for Y2K, Composer and his wife, Frank and Bunny Wilson (I think,...I was overdue for my late afternoon nap). It started out well and ended up with the standard discounting and disclaiming from the people who put the "spot" together....you know...."just a ploy to make money by scaring people, so therefore, fear not little lemmings" To add further discounting to the story, it was followed up by another "spot" on the folks who earn their living clearing houses of evil spirits. The juxtaposition of the two stories was not a coincidence. All fluffy, funny, kooky, har, har, har... All in all pretty sad, even though the Wilsons looked like average, sane Angelinos.

Hey Frank and Bunny....keep up the preparations...a few people will probably see through the media monkey-shines. Gary North was right about Y2K becoming mainstream,...just that it's becoming mainstream fodder for kookdom. Horse Noises!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a bit out here...most of it national though.....local papers are doing poorly....keep us informed of what you find.
