I am trying to make a VCD which includes several frames of text...I take a .bmp which includes lots of text (like a typed page), encode to MPEG it using Xing, but the text comes out VERY blocky...any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have no problems in doing what you wan, and the results are pretty good. I use Photoshop and a programme called Broadway for captruing and compressing. It costs about #800.00
