I think you've succesfully captured a beautiful flower. I also like the square format and the simple background. Your image is rather small, did you post a bigger image somewhere ?

Thanks for the comments. I haven't posted a larger image to date. I'm awaiting the delivery of an image editor with a more powerful JPEG compression capability. With my current one I had to downsize the image to get the file down to an (almost) acceptable size.
