Help!!! I just upgraded to MS Explorer 4. and the cookie accept/reject does not work anymore. I searched MS online support and found "cookie filtering tool" in its glossary. But when searching for this on the online help, it returns No Search Results. P. S. My PO mailbox already bulges with junk mail. The postmistress must pound it in with a hammer for sometimes I have to extract it with Visegrips.

You need to click VIEW on the menu bar, then click INTERNET OPTIONS. Click the ADVANCED tab, and scroll down to the SECURITY section. You can now select one of three options for cookies: always, disable, or prompt before accepting cookies.

Remember some cookies are useful, as for example when you have a shopping cart at Amazon.com. I keep my browser set to ask me every time, "accept" or "cancel". Some sites are reeely persistent -- I've counted as many as 20 attempts to put in a cookie. Wotta drag.
