How Can I Record a portion of a VCD to my Hard Disk??

Hi there (again)! I would like to ask how will I be able to record a portion of a movie (in a VCD) to my hard disk. What software will I be needing and where can I find it? Thanks!

I think you can only do that with hardwares, not softwares. What i use is "Video Sphinx Pro" from FutureTel

IFilmEdit Pro will work great for extracting/saving/editing MPEG video from VCDs

mpegplayer (http://www.seller-club.com/mpegplayer/Main.htm) can extract mpeg from VCD, , and create a single MPEG from multiple MPEG files or clips from DAT/MPEG files. Cost $20.
