I reallly like this shot. A simple graphic statement. The overlaps have detail in the shadows; I suppose in a perfect world the middle leaf would be intact.

wonderful color and perfect technique. up to your usual standard, tait.

It's an interesting idea but I find the actual result, shapes and color uninteresting and boring. I also dislike the obvious damage to the center leaf. (I should add that this is the first of your pictures on photo.net that I did not like.)

I like the simplicity of the composition, the beautiful back lighting and how the leaves overlap making the two shadows that echo the shape of the leaves.

Any other opions now we have heard both sides, I would be interested in wether people this there is a market for this kind of photograph. I have others of the same leafs, let me know if I should post them. Thanks, Tait

Wonderful. But I see some tech. problems with the right edge. The right most leaf is a little fuzzy on its right edge. Also the top left corner is blurred. Crop it down so that the black shadow on the right most leaf is cropped off. That takes care of the blurred corner. Next, crop the right edge off part way into the right most leaf. This takes care of the right blurred edge and balances the left leaf which is cut also. Finally, clip off the botton up to the tip of the thrid leaf. What your left with is a wonder abstract of grean, black, and yellow ( veins) partititioned space.
