I like this. I like the way the light and the shadows make the veins really stand out on the larger leaf and how they kind of echo the lines in the smaller leaf. The contrast between the yellow and the dark green is nice too and the edge of light on the larger leaf. The only thing that bothers me is the light, out of focus area in the upper right corner. It keeps drawing my eye away from the leaves.

I like the contrast between green and yellow. I have to second the comment about the blur in the upper right. I think it looks much better if you crop tightly around the leaves.

This is excellent. And I too would crop the top and right sides because the light color spots in the background are a bit distracting.

How about this...

Great! I like this version much better. Nothing to distract the eye anymore from the most important elements of the photograph.

The original version is better.

Aaaarrrgh!!! The original version is so much better, it's almost unbelievable!!! The original lives from the interplay and dynamics of the rounded leaf and the round shape in the right background. The second version is boring beyond belief. True, there is nothing to destract the eye in the second one, unfortunately, there is nothing to attract it either! Remain faithful to your original vision!!!
