Jeff Coopers' column in the November 1998 issue of Guns & Ammo contains the following paragraph.

"The electronic disaster of Y2K approaches. You still have 14 months in which to throw away your computer."

Cooper is well respected in the shooting industry. However, I can't tell if he is being serious or sarcastic about Y2K. I do think that more and more people will become aware of Y2K. Hopefully some of them will take it seriously.
