My mom and i went to Indonesia after geting our computer. We paid some dimwit to install a Noteworthy MPEG-1 Playback PC card but all he did was shove it into the pcmcia card slot. He did not install the drivers for it. When we run a VCD on our computer it has an error saying something like: _____ time out. You sound as if you know quite a bit more about this. Is there any help you can give me? Where can you buy VCD players in AUSTRALIA. Can you find out for me? I can't find a thing.

Mark Morrison has some information on where to get VCDs in Melbourne, at http://www.zikzak.net/heroic/vcd.htm. Hopefully the same shops would be able to tell you where to find a VCD player.

Sorry, no idea about the MPEG-1 playback card. You might try contacting the manufacturer, or checking out their web site.
