I find that disposition issues to be tackled can be categorized as follows: a. List of SSICs that have not disposition instruction in SECNAVINST 5212.5D Example: 3443 Chemical Disaster Control - No disposition b. List of SSICs that have disposition instructions in introductory paragraphs, but are hard to find Example: 8022 Cargo Ship Loading - Use 8020 disposition instructions c. List of SSICs and dispositions found in 5212.5D but cannot be referenced in 5210.11D Example: 3104 Combat Camera Operations - Not referenced in 5210.11D d. Title references differ in 5212.5D and 5210.11D Example: 10700 series e. Obsolete SSICs Example: 2076 Defense Special Security Communications Systems f. SSIC numbers differ Example: SECNAVINST 5210.11D - 8215 Night Vision Equipment and Devices SECNAVINST 5212.5D - 8220 Night Vision Equipment and Devices g. SSICs need to be deleted from 5210.11D Example: 2230 Cryptographic Security h. SSICs need to be added (scheduled?) Example: 9760 - Small Arms and PyrotechnicsI propose we sort these SSICs by these groups and prioritize what can be done immediately and what will require much more effort.
