1000 Develop objectives, time schedule, and make work group assignments for work to commence after 1 October. Dean Bundy

PROPOSED APPROACH 1. Review completed SSIC chapters to a. identify SSIC numbers that are inactive or no longer used b. develop retention guidance for SSIC items that currently do not have them c. assign SSIC numbers to documents that are identified in the SECNAVINST 5212.5D but do not now appear in 5510.11D d. provide instructions and guidance for records creation or receipt; filing, cut-offs, retention, and dispostion for records in all media, as required in the DoD Std 5015.2

This is a preliminary plan -- a set of discussion points. As we finalize the plan we need to include with it a work schedule that may depend to some extent on NARA'S 270-day proposal outlined in its ERWG draft report. After NARA input we will need to produce a schedule outline with work assignments and products, and proposed dates of completion.

We will not schedule a next meeting. We will continue to operate as a virtual work group and post completed assignments, share information, and ask questions via the DoNCIO website. The work group leader will consult with the group and schedule future meetings as needed.
