ERCOT boundries

I have been following the electric power issue for a few months now, and like everyone else, I am extremely concerned about reliability of the grid when the clocks rollover. In assessing my own personal situation, I have been trying to determine the exact boarders of the ERCOT interconnection. Most of what I have seen states that ERCOT covers "most of Texas". In looking at a rough mapping of the interconnections, however, there seems to be a fairly ragged edge that may or may not include the Dallas/Fort Worth area where I live. Question #1 - Does anyone know how I might find this information out?

Given that ERCOT seems to be the most isolated interconnection, and thereby the least likely to be affected in a cascading failure system-wide, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this. Please don't misunderstand me - I am in no way assuming that outages elsewhere won't impact me...I'm just trying to understand the power issue on a local scale, along with the global and national levels.

Thanks in advance.... Ron
