Where can I get information on a Pioneer Maid Cookstove? Recently read and advertisement and think it is a product made in Canada. Will buy one if delivery doesn't take too long. Thanks for the info.<

Call Lehman Bros at 330-857-5757 - you can get their catalog for $3 and the Pioneer Maiden is in there. Beautiful! Also, I just bought from them a book on cooking on a woodstove that is NOT a cookstove. Excited about one pot simmered meals at MY house!

Alan, I'd be interested in knowing why you've got your heart set on this model above all others...I live in Canada & haven't yet come across it but I've just started shopping. I find it really curious when the salespeople try to switch me to gas fireplaces... I guess there's a bigger margin in gas. Seems to be lots available here...no wait yet.

The Pioneer Maid Cookstove is a beauty and reasonably priced. I wish i had known of it before I bought a used Findlay. You can buy direct from the company: Suppertime Stoves Limited, Route 4, Aylmer, Ontario, Canada N5H 2R3 They also make an economy cook stove called the Baker's Choice.
