I looked at your site for a way to respond to a letter "A fable for our time" and could not find one. With all this web page has I wonder about your reasons for leaving this out.

Innkeeper, I have returned because I found your story to be bias and I wished to take you to task. Indeed the king has not brought prosperity, but merely taken the credit for what others have brought about. He has lied by his own addmission. He has twisted the truth and he has the printers and conveyers of the kingdom's news aiding him in his deception! He has accosted a wench half his age and taken advantage of her naiveti. He has performed perverted acts that bely his ability to govern. Having a sexual addiction, he should NOT have his finger on the button that controls our secret weapons! The Grand Inquisitor has a reputation for honesty and integrity as well as one for truthfulness, unlike the King's reputation as a proven liar. All the King's men complain of the money the Inqisitor has spent DOING the job that the King hired him to do. Yet the king himself spent 50 million duckets on his trip to the east and took a huge entourage. This cost far exceeds what the Inquisitor has spent. Only a fool would concider this scandal to be about the King's private life. Only a naive fool would defend his perversions. On the possitive side, I have changed my decision to leave this land. I wish to see if your justice is truly for all or if the elite have special rules for themselves. Only then will I know if this is the land of the free. That is when I will make my choice to stay or go.

Remember, justice will strengthen a nation, injustice will tear it assunder!
