What is the Enterprise Software Integrated Process Team (IPT)for RM?

For informational purposes, I (also Steven Greene/Jim Jensen)have been invited by the Air Force records officer to attend a meeting on IPT--Friday, 18Sep98, Pentagon. Background: DoD recently established an Enterprise Software Initative (ESI) steering group, chaired by Dr. Langston, Deputy CIO, DoD. The ESI mission is to develop and implement a DoD enterprise process to identify, acquire, distribute, and manage enterprise software. AF was designated to work electronic records management products and establish an IPT with deliverables including a "set of requirements" if above and beyond the DoD 5015.2 STD, acquisition/contracting tool to use, and a funding strategy.
