Well this is wierd. I went to the 'sign up for alerts' thinking that the system here would just tell me, "there was a message posted on the WWW thingie", and I would have to come over here to read it. instead, I get the text of these messages, but without the headers (names of senders, etc) so, I just got a letter from "greenspun" that reads, "oh yeah, who?" wierd. -theresa

TechSupport

Greg, the upper frame is acting oddly on my machine. The links end up overlapping one another, leaving the nearby link unreadable. Don't know if it's my machine, browser (Netscape 4.04), or the new software. I'll keep playing with it. Gotta check the rest of my PSG messages and have a 6pm appt offsite.

Comment

Perhaps it's a PC novice-thing, but the movement from message box to message box is clear, ie. next/previous. However, if you lose the upper frame when reading messages, it seems you have to back <<< to get to the 2-frame window. Perhaps instructions in the beggining or the help command. Perhaps a constant link to "help/instructions." Then again, maybe it's just the PC novice nitwit who is having problems and no one else does.

My software/hardware ignorance were my greatest assets as a project manager because I asked every question possible, strictly as a non-techie customer-friendly support person. The techies didn't like me much, duh!

Greg, am I hallucinating or did you fix the tab vs. mousie movement between the fields on the "Post a Reply" screen?
