I work in the King of Prussia/Valley forge area and live in the suburbs of Norristown. I am very concerned with PECO's contingency planning, Y2K preparedness and the distribution services to my community now that we have enacted Electric Utility Provider Choices (i.e. Connectiv, PP+L, etc.). I have been out on PECO's website and entered a serch for any and all combinations of the Y2K issue. The response back was no data available!!! Why????????? Am I nervous? You bet I am! I am a Program Manager in the IT industry and have many, many concerns that non-It people are taking this situation too lightly. I firmly believe that we who possess the knowledge and foresight as to the impending outcome of the clock turning 1/1/2000 should band together and alert our local township commissioners and state representatives as to our concerns. We should be pulling together as a concerted community with the our elected leadership caring the torch. This is the reason why we elected them...to represent our issues and concerns!!
