For anyone who has been reading the postings with George, you will understand this, and I ask that you all post your rules of propriety. My rules come from an even older book than Georges.

And God spake these words saying: 1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me 2) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth; thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them 3) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain 4) Remember the sabbeth day to keep it holy 5) Honour thy father and thy mother 6) Thou shalt not kill 7) Thou shalt not commit adultery 8) Thou shalt not steal 9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor 10) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maid servant, . . . nor anything that is thy neighbor's. These are the Rules of Propriety I lead my life by. I also have a few philosophies that I think are important to keep in mind.

First, "Don't knock it 'til you've tried it." Second, "Question everything."

Okay, I also live by all those rules listed above, but one other handy one I read in a Tom Hanks interview and adapted to my own life is "Never go to sleep on an argument" and my boyfriend's mother says "Never go to sleep enemies, because you'll awaken worse enemies".
