Healthiest option for WATER STORAGE

greenspun.com : LUSENET : David's Organic Forum : One Thread

We need to purchase a tank for water storage for drinking etc. and would like advice on the healthiest storage materials. Be it concrete, metal, fibreglass, polyethylene or other?

We are located in the Northern Rivers Area, if you can recommend a company.

Thankyou in anticipation.

Water Storage

By now you probably made your choice on this, and perhaps you would be kind enough to post to the forum any useful info that may help others.

For what it's worth, when I was faced with the same question, I picked concrete as the one containing fewer possibly dangerous chemicals (various plastics) and being the least reactive (various metals).

I am happy with the choice, but if you are located far from suppliers then of course concrete could much more expensive than other materials.
