Is that possible to record the video output of a digital camera on a regular vcr (vhf)

Thanks,

Yes it is. Firt, the camera has to be capable of video output that matches the standard where you live (either NTSC for the States or Pal for Europe). Plug the utput from the camera into the video IN on the VCR. Then you will have to switch the input source on the VCR. SOme of them can be switched from the remote control and some have a switch on the VCR. CHeck the instructions for the VCR.

The output should show on the TV screen. Once you have that simply hit RECORD and whatever you see on the TV screen is being recorded on the tape.

Thanks for the reply Randy! One note: Long mentioned "vhf" in his question, and it's important to point out that he'll need a VCR with direct video inputs, not just an antenna-in jack. If the latter, he could get a NTSC-RF converter from Radio Shack or someplace that would put the camera video on Channel 3 or 4, but that would introduce significant loss of image quality.
