Okay, I've seen some stuff about this Titanic On Tour thing and I want to go see it. I've found where it's going to be closest to me and I know how much park admission is but does anyone know if it cost anything other than that??? I can't find anything about that. They do say that some of the concerts held in the park are extra but what about the Titanic exhibit? Somebody Help!!! Thanks.

The Titanic Movie on Tour exhibit is part of the park admission price, thus the exhibit itself is **free** to all. I saw the exhibit at Paramount's King's Island park (outside of Cincinnati, Ohio) on July 11. I would recommend that you arrive early or be prepared to stand in line for an hour or two. We were there when the gates opened at 9 am and got in line immediately (you may want to call the park before you go so that you can get to the exhibit quickly once you are inside the gate). So we were either the first or second group of the day to go inside. Each group was about 50 people. You can spend as much time inside as you want. Nobody is pushing people along to get them through the exhibit. You are allowed to take photos, but no flash photography or videotaping is allowed. So if you want to shoot pictures, get some higher speed film (at least 400 ASA) and a good camera!! But unless you are a professional with super expensive equipment, the resulting photos will not be as brilliant in color as you are seeing with your eye. Museum lighting is used so the naturally brilliant colors are muted when taking photos. Nonetheless, I do recommend taking photos. And I recommend going through the exhibit twice during your visit to the park, especially if you are staying at the park for a while (we arrived at 9 am and left at 11 pm, but then we drove about 5 hours to get there and stayed over two nights----well worth it for me and my two boys!!). I saw items that I somehow overlooked during my first visit through the exhibit. You are so busy taking photos and talking with friends and other people that you can easily miss an item or two. Also, there is plenty of "Titanic" and "Titanic Movie on Tour" merchandise, so be prepared to spend, spend, spend!!! One item that I am very happy with is a wine glass printed with the "Titanic" film logo and info. Enjoy!!! Wish I could go with you!!!! I'd love to see the exhibit again!!!

Kathleen, I'm afraid the nearest amusement park is at least four or five hours away, and I'm not sure I could convince any of my friends to come with me (they're not as obsessed with this movie as I am!). Plus, I haven't heard that it's coming to any of the parks nearby. I will try and check it out, though. Thanks for the info...it sounds fabulous. :)

Here in Canada, Paramount Canada's Wonderland is also hosting this Titanic exhibit and it is free with the park admission. If the park you're going to is owned by Paramount, I'm sure it will be free too. Hope you enjoy it!

WOW Thanks Kathleen!! That was exactly the kind of Info I was looking for!!! I do plan on staying at least one night but I'm not sure I can manage two. Hopefully I'll be taking a friend and my sister with me though so maybe they'll wanna stay an extra night...I can't wait to see it and I certainly plan on taking LOTS of pictures....might just take my brothers or Mom's camera to get some good shots (My brother is an amature photographer....) So maybe I'll get some nice pics. I saw some from the exhibit on a costumers guild page and I loved them. That's really what made me decide to go. (if anyone else wants to see them check under the thread of Rose's dresses. It's in there somewhere) Anyway, I'm going to have to wait till October so I will have time to save money so I can spend spend spend. Thanks again Kathleen.

Well I went... WOW is really all I can say. I took so many pictures I have no idea when I'll have th moneyt o get tham all developed!!! I think I took about 82 shots all in all. If they turn out I may just put up a page so everyone can look. I was upset a tad though because for some reason they didn't have the red and black "Jump" dress or the white dress that Rose wears at the very end. Other than that though I had a blast. If anyone has a chance to go DO IT!!! It is well worth the money! And Thanks to everyone who answered this tread. It helped sooooo much!! :)

Unfortunately, Kelly, you are too late. The Titanic Movie on Tour exhibit opened back in the late spring (June, I think) at the Paramount's Great America park in Santa Clara, California. Then it moved on to King's Island near Cincinnati, Ohio for 3 weeks in July. Then Canada's Wonderland near Toronto. Or maybe Toronto came before Cincinnati. Anyways, then King's Dominion near Richmond, Virginia. And then ended up at Carowinds near Raleigh, North Carolina for weekends only through the end of October. I think that's all of the parks. And I have not heard of any additional locations to be added. Of course, most of the parks will have closed down entirely for the winter at that point.

Who knows where these wonderful "Titanic" items will end up. It would be nice to know that they will be accessible in a Hollywood or other movie museum for more people to enjoy.
