IMHO there's too much bland rock on the left and right, the bright areas at the top are distracting and not really interesting, and the rest of the image being in the shade makes it a litlle dull. It doesn't quite work as a waterfall picture and there's too much in it for it to work as an abstract.

Sorry. Doen't do it for me.

I pretty much agree with Bob. This image is a bit too busy is some places, yet boring in others. Composition changes and use of B&W film would probably be my personal workaround. Keep plugging away.

This is one of those situations where I think you tried to get too much into one image. Since I have to scroll the image to see it all, I first saw the upper ~2/3 which I think has possibilities. Then when I scroll to put the bottom of the image on the bottom of my screen the bottom ~2/3 seems workable with some cropping, too.

There is nice texture on all the rocks and mottled light on the right one, so you have decent pieces to make an image out of. I suggest you play with cropping out parts to get your final image. This is the kind of situation a B&W photographer would spend hours working over in the darkroom.

The light works against the subject. Probably if this were shot on a bright/cloudy day it would work better. The highlights should be on the water, not scattered on the rocks.
